The client was renovating a small WC in a Dumfries townhouse. I was asked to create a small vanity to make use of a period washbasin. Given the condition of the walls it called for an unconventional approach, lots of scribing and fitting to get a snug frame secured onto which I could fix the specially milled boards. Finally, the top could be templates and cut from some reclaimed mahogany.
